Flying Bicycles is about looking put together but being extra comfortable. I like to create pieces with the intent that they will be lasting staples for your closet. Staples that simplify your options when getting ready for work or going out with friends

I love working with natural fibers, especially linen. It breathes, it can have structure or fluidity. As Flying Bicycles evolves I will continue to research and source fibers that are gentle on the environment. I also prefer to work in small batches to avoid over production. Some items may be limited inventory and some may be made to order. Black linen will always be a constant option throughout the collection.

I started sewing as a kid because my grandmother was a sewing teacher. She taught for over 50 years! She had an abundance of knowledge, grace, and kindness and will always hold a special place in my heart.
